We have three Women's Bible Study groups at St Matthew's that meet at different times throughout the week. These are dynamic groups that place an emphasis on studying God's Word while  encouraging the individual. Great friendships and support networks are formed over a cup of tea and through prayer.
Throughout the year these groups enjoy guest speakers, escape on retreats, support overseas mission partners, engage in evangelism and provide meals and pastoral support when needed. Women of all ages and stages of life are welcome to join one of these groups.
MSG - Monday Study Group
MSG meets weekly on Monday mornings from 10am-12pm in the church hall. We start with a chat over morning tea before moving into our Bible Study groups. A creche is run by some members of the church for Mum's with young children.
TSG - Thursday Study Group
TSG meets weekly on Thursday mornings from 10am-12pm in the church hall. It is exactly the same as MSG only we meet on Thursday! A creche is run by some members of the church for Mum's with young children.
Evening MSG -Mid-week Study Group
Evening MSG meets fortnightly on a Thursday evening from 7:45pm in various member's homes. We start with supper and fellowship before studying the Bible together.

The craft group invites women from the community to come together and work on craft, patchwork and needle craft projects. The group also works on specific projects to send to mission organisations such as Anglicare. In 2008 the group made animal quilts that were presented to our link missionary, Bonnie Lepelaar for use in the Sunshine Centre in Cambodia.
